Puppy training

Jennifer has been rescuing and fostering pets for over ten years. She works in a veterinary clinic in Green Bay as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Kevin has also rescued several animals over the years. Because of their love of animals, they founded Tender Heart Pet Rescue. Every animal they take in is cared for and seen by a veterinarian. Funding for this comes out of pocket and adoption donations. Because of this, we are only able to take in a few animals at a time. Unlike most shelters, we do not usually cage our animals. All animals are kept in a home envirnonment, and are part of the family until they find their forever homes. We would not be able to do this without the wonderful help from our foster homes! They allow us to take in and care for more animals at one time!

Jennifer and Kevin also love spending time with their own pets. They have two dogs: AJ (a Doberman Pinscher) and Lestat (a Weimaraner Mix) both rescue dogs. They also have four cats; (Cleopatra, from a private home; Athina, who was rescued; Prince, who was from the Humane Society; and Demetri, who was given to them by a friend).

They have fostered and cared for many different kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds (large and small), reptiles (large and small), fresh water fish, horses, cows, sheep, geese, baby ducks, llamas, and even an 8 week old kid (baby goat) they had to bottle feed. If you are interested in adopting one of our rescue animals, or have an animal that you need to surrender please contact us!

Special Thanks to our foster homes: Cathy (cats & kittens), Jo (cats & Kittens), Becky & Mike (dogs & cats). We could not do this without you!!!

If you are interested in fostering, please fill out a foster application. Then email, fax or mail it in. Please contact us if you have questions. Thank you!
